This sandwich is made from a simple can of turkey, but coupled with the flavor of the dressing and the berries, it reminds me of wonderful holiday leftovers.
- 12 slices Whole Wheat Bread, any variety
- 1 can Diced Cooked Turkey, 12-14 ounces, drained and flaked, or 1 1/2 cups
- 2 Tablespoons Miracle Whip
- 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
- ⅛ teaspoon Onion Salt
- ⅛ teaspoon Celery Salt
- ⅛ teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
- 1 can Mandarin Oranges, drained, 15 oz.
- 1 can Whole Berry Cranberries 14 oz.
- 6 cans V-8 Juice 11 oz. cans
Drain and flake canned turkey. In a bowl, mix turkey, spices, miracle whip, and mayo. Divide and spread evenly over 6 slices of bread. On the other 6 slices of bread spread with cranberry sauce to taste. Make sandwiches by placing one slice of bread with turkey and one slice with cranberries together. Serve with a can of V-8 to round out your meal.
