Sweet Potato Biscuits

Warm bread or bisquist always add to the meal. This variation is easy to assemble and cleanup is a snap. These make ordinary soups turn into “Wow.”

  • 2 ½ cups Whole Wheat Baking Mix
  • ⅓ cup Butter, softened*
  • ¾ cup Dehydrated Sweet Potato Dices
  • ⅔ cup Milk
Heat oven to 450℉.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add sweet potato dices. Boil for 15 minutes. Drain and mash. Add all other ingredients to mashed sweet potatoes. Stir until soft dough forms.

Drop heaping round table spoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. I like to use my pampered chef large cookie dropper.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

*Shortening may be substituted.
