Wheat Germ Pie Crust

As you’ve learned from several of my previous posts — I HATE to roll out pie crust! As a result, this crust that presses right into the pan is one of my favorites! –Mellyn 

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  • 2 Tablespoons applesauce
  1. Combine oatmeal, flour, wheat germ and salt in a blender.
  2. Remove mixture from blender and and add oil and applesauce.
  3. Mix together.
  4. Press into pie pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden.
  6. Fill with whatever floats your boat!
